Welcome to John Moser's Image Workshop / Playground

Now that the summer heatwave is here and vines are twisting in the coastal plain jungle, I’m revisiting some sites I haven’t seen since winter.

This location has less dense vegetation than some of the others, but I’m hoping to work my way back into some of the really overgrown sites soon to see what’s changed.

  1. If you’re still into root balls, the Dereche has certainly left quite a few in the Central Va area! There are two side-by-side oaks that went down in Earlysville and pulled up the entire root balls of each. Together, they pulled up about half of their owners’ yard. Erik thinks the root ball is about 25′ in diameter.
