Process Pleasure, Part Two
Going out and looking for new subject matter is the other part of the process that’s fun. Yesterday, Weezie (dog) and I went to a section of the Buttermilk Trail in James River Park that neither of us had been to before. It’s one thing to go to a new place, but the process of finding root balls usually requires getting into weird places, off the foot paths and bike trails. The sight of me crouched down under a root ball in a briar patch must look strange to the occasional passers-by.
After a couple of unproductive root ball hunts recently (don’t bother going to the Pump House Park), we found some really good roots yesterday!
