Bremo’s Bluff Hideaway

I found this little enchanted spot while climbing on Bremo’s Bluff, near Fork Union, Virginia yesterday. The wide angle of the photo doesn’t really do it justice. This little spot felt like a secluded and very private room just off the highway. The initials carved in the tree make it clear that this hideaway is well known by the locals.  I’m betting it’s been a popular spot going back a few hundred years at least.
